Feeling like a collector

There are things that irritates me and the first thing about a person who owes somebody's $ and doesn't even feel ashamed or ignore the fact that they owe money to a friend!

Did you ever experienced this situation?

Lesson learned:Should have done some "credit background" checked with her friends before asking this person to come to a party that they can't afford 15$. (if you can't payback, just say so and I won't waste my time and I'll look for another guest to the party)

2nd thing that irritates me:This person used to work in a Financial institute and knows about how to do a budjet... but claims that she don't have the money to pay back. And she doesn't need advise.

3rd thing that irritates me:This person then post on facebook that she doesn't know which booze to buy?! (I mean, if you don't have money you can't afford to buy Booze? Unless she made her friends pays for her and she doesn't chip in a cent?!)

4th thing: too many excuses to give back a simple 15$! The more she drags it, the more I am losing respect for this person. It was hard for me to find at least a job that I can get a bit of income... and I had the heart to pay for her before...I was nice enough to give her more time, but she never gives a promis date of WHEN she will respect her 'IOU'.

I sent her another text asking if she can at least give me a date! Cos I don't want this to hang and then she thinks that I'll eventually forget about this.I don't like people like this... it's not respectful at all.Once she complete her dues... I'll never pay anything in advance anymore.I shoulda asked Neb... and I've noticed also she didn't even pay her portion of the meal to Neb the other time...

So there I have it. A job that is not a call center job. I have to get used to this because last week's training is more about studying for tests in order to be hired. Today, is my first day on the floor at work.

I've followed instruction such as : Ask the Lead,
Oh goodie, Android = we never really covered it except to see on the board how to get to download the game with SD card and other weird method... (it's hard when you don't have access to a lot of things and it's been a week that we were hired and nothing seems to be working yet... )

Slowly but surely.

Second thing, the things we have to do isn't too clear... especially the "tracking e-mail". Surprised I feel like I'm stranded in the air... waiting for an answer and how to go around...

Today I feel that there might be some mistakes =_= but our lead this morning seems to be "bleh".

I didn't feel that I have accomplished anything today... we were supposed to have a shadowing but no shadowing today...

You think going to school is hard? Well looking for a job or something you like to do is kind of harder to find now. I got news from a girl who went for the EA mobile group interview, she got an offer before me and I was kinda sad at first... I wrote an e-mail to the person who first sent e-mail for the group interview. Anyways, to cut the story short... the pay isn't high.. plus it is for a 1 year contract. 2nd you have training but it is not paid until you pass the "test". We already went through different tests in the group Interview... and now you have to do more? Err... all I can say, I have to do my best now it's one shot or never...

Plus this Sunday I have sent to schedule a Skype interview for teaching English in Korea. I hope the person got my message because at 9pm I'll be waiting for a Skype interview of 15-20min. I wonder if this will be the route or it will be post-poned for the next term because of 'EA mobile'.

(I want to earn more income so I can study : 'event planner'/ communication and publicities) Not sure if these fields are demanded in this cruel world of ours.

Today I took some picture of our small small SMALL x-mas tree (ironic that I put CAPS on the last word 'small') My parents couldn't find the bigger one... it's stashed somewhere in the attic, so we decided to put up the small one! How tall is the tree? Not as tall as me!

I am posting these pictures to put ourselves in the x-mas holiday mood.

ps: Should I dress up my dog for Xmas? Don't know... she is too cute and white that I don't feel like putting costume on her.

I am not sure if I will get used to this...

Anyways, working in a call center for too long might rot your brain because all you hear is the same things all over again... and people you start to get tire of them nagging for something that they don't understand what they have!

"if you have money somewhere and don't know you have it..." = problem, maybe you should keep track of where your money goes... People who ignore where they put their money, are people who are too rich and they know it.

I don't know if I will turn evil because of what I am doing in my daily life.... 'call center'. Beyond stress, yes!

People ignoring me... it's ok i'm used to that right now. I don't think I will trust anybody anymore... if you meet a bad egg, this bad egg will sabotage your friendship with others... I just realized it happened again 2nd time!

(I can do the same, it's pretty easy when you think well those people don't give a "crap" of your opinion... plus, I have to listen to their own jugement ... hahaha, isn't this unfair?)

Tonight's post is about this person in which you might recognize and it's not about you girls... It's not even about Mr. Dj nor the weird guy who had the Asian fever... (well he might be similar to the white guy who had Asian Fever)

If you (yes you mr. who only add my asian friends on facebook and you who do not add my black friends or other color skin friends on your facebook...) know that I'm talking about you now.

Here is my letter to you!

Dear Mr. F,

I thought that you were a nice person, trusted you and also considered you as a friend. There were too many situations and events that makes my hypothesis become 100% accurate now. First, you were this shy boy who always wears your hoodie, beeing smart and music wise. I knew you back then when you were nice and we exchanges music. However, on one night on my birthday... you left with one of our collegue from Class, I didn't know what she was telling you but I felt really piss to the fact that you ignored me the next day at class until... let say to until 3 seasons have passed.

Never explained why, never replied as if I was nobody. To be honest, I'm a person with feelings just like anybody else... I must admit I had a crush but nothing serious, and I wasn't obsessed for sure! All I was seeking was friendship. As time moves on, you've changed or trying too hard to make "girls" like you. You were brainwashed with fiction and with artificial physical appearances. Starting the 2nd year of Japanese class, I sensed that something was different... and weird because you started to talk to me. WTF! I still havn't received a straight honest answer of why you ignored back then... it's confusing.

I guess I was stupid to believe you were a friend... if you were, you should share your thoughts, opinion, happiness, anger and sadness... instead I feel as if I'm somebody who is 'artificial' or not a real friend... or just to keep a bit of "contact" so you can meet other of my friends...

I've seen and have experienced a lot of moment that there were no "mutual respect" between us.

Last but not least, your behavior at my friend's place was unacceptable and immature for the age I assumed you to be! You, who I assumed you are smart... and almost my age now... It's a shame, but it is clear to me that I am your doormat. I have enough of being a doormat and not a friend.

I believe in Karma... I won't do anything to harm you, but there won't be any 'friendly invitations' for you anymore... plus you made some of my friends feel awkward.

Thanks for being a friend once before, and now it's time for me to move on and I hope that you realized that you've just lost a friend who truly care and did her best to stay friends...

Got the weirdest dream last night in which it makes me look tired today.

Hello friends!

Thanks to Karine, I've decided to blog and update my blog! (thank you Karine for this kind reminder)

So what's up lately?

First, there was the big reaction of the Japanese Earthquake that we all talk about. In which it is sad, and the only thing we can do is donate since... not everybody can afford to go to Japan and rescue everybody.

I'll be attending to two fundraising events: 1) this coming saturday on the 26th of March 2011 the bowling event and maybe meet the men of my dreams there LOL and for a good cause! 15$ for 2 games including rental shoes. After that I'm going to my friend's concert. Sunday going to Badminton game :D

2) The second fundraising event will be at my good old McGill Shatner Building in April for a Benefit Concert in which we can donate at least 5$ min or more. For Asian talents and for a good cause!

Love life?

Nothing really... I was open enough to meet up some people... but got discouraged and I need a break. I think the documentary was true about online dating: "There are a lot of rotten potatoes (men) out there who is looking for their strawberry Fondu (women)" LOL anyways... But To be honest, I am not sad about it... I am still keeping positive thinking :D

Other?
There is a bit of drama here and there in which there shouldn't be any. I don't understand people who are dramatic over spilt milk.

What other things? I've been watching some movies... right now the movie style is all about using your imagination, it's all about how do you feel if I leave vague details so you can think more instead of absorbing the obvious?

1) Movies to watch: 'L'incendie' (film making from Montreal who won a lot of nominations)

"Adjustment bureau" -- With Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, it's ok you'll have to go watch it and judge for yourself.

"Black Swan" --- disturbing, it will attack you emotionally and mentally!

So My friends, it's a colorfull blog you might asked: "so where is the happy part?"

Wasn't it happy already to be able to attends for good cause and to see some friends and also having my mind work with strange movies so I can keep a certain balance in my emotions?

Other happy events that just passed:

Yesterday I dream that I got a response from a job offer.
I thought it was real, but turns out to be a dream.

I woke up... went to my pc to see if there were any offer replied to me at all...
NOTHING...

I have to stay positive!
Since the Universe attract my thoughts... I have to believe in it.

I have to believe and see myself in a better working environment, in which I can laugh and share intellectual experience at work instead of nasty surprises and trying to "clean-up" somebody else mess....

I can't recall how many job application I've sent so far...
But I believe around 15- 20. I remember when I was jobless I sent more then that in a day and two or three weeks I have maybe 3 calls for a Job interview.

I think I'll have to do 15 to 20 applications per day to increase my chances.
However when I arrived home I need to change my mind and do my best to look for jobs.

I don't know why is harder to do job hunt these days... most of the time it comes from Networking. That helps a lot.

Should I return to my other Job? I don't want to start from Zero again. I want to reach for the top like Rockie!

I wish that something can roll smooth like Gelato, but life isn't like Gelato... life is more like this nasty grease stain that won't go away... unless you rub it so hard that you might think it's gone... But all you want to do is cover this stain.

That's life... you try to cover this stain with something you like... but eventually you know that it won't go away.

Life is "nice" but people make it too complicated, people make it hateful and it is brainwashing my happiness.

So I wish... I cross my fingers that with all the C.V that I sent so far, I can get a good job soon!

Hell, sorry that I havn't continue blogging...
too many things happened.

1) ignoring didn't work because he who shall not be named, called and I was a bit confused and happy at the same time.

2) turns out he doesn't really put things clear, it seems very easy game for him.

Finally, I get over it, took me 2 days and 23hours but I'm fine now. I am not a bitter person, and definitely not cynical.

It's an odd experience, but I believe I learn some few tricks or two.

Since I believe in Karma... somebody who hurt somebody will get what he deserves.
I won't think of bad things, but eventually... we all get hurt.

Some people think that being mean or bad is a way to express 'power'.
In fact, I think that mean people are just a cover... cos they can't face themselves... they see as taking advantage of people with feelings as being weak.

WELL news... TO feel pain, to feel love, to feel anger... it's all in the same boat! If I don't feel... I think I'll be dead by now.

I found out that I meet artistic friends.
In addition, there is a new friend who came from France and he look a little bit like my friend Tatsuya, but way younger.

Yesterday night when I was at my friend's place, I believe I was the oldest of the gang and I feel a bit... lol googled eyes who couldn't believe their eyes that I was older then them!

In addition, they were pretty mature group for their age. Sometimes I wonder why some... near 30ish people reacts more ~~retarded~~ (mentally challenged) then the 20ish people :P

But in other words, age is not a big deal when it comes to friendship. We share the same interest, we share laughter and happiness that's all that matters.

Short Resume of my feelings

As you all read my last post about MR. D for Douche Bag.

I realized that I care too much for other people. I am always falling into the trap of falling for somebody who hurt me and take advantage of my feelings.

As a resume, I have to feel happy for me now. I don't mean to be selfish and stop caring for my friends. I mean, taking time for myself. Maybe that's the key to my confusion, because I don't know if I was happy with all this thing going on.

The things I will believe is Karma:

1) I was always polite (although I call him douche bag now); but that's not like swearing, it's more like description of his actions and the result turns out to be: "Douche Bag"

2) I keep my words. Nothing wrong to share my thoughts, but apparently some guys just take it as a joke. HAHA maybe it was a joke!?

3) Although this person piss-me off in all ways imaginable, I didn't shed a tear. 'Cos in my mind and soul, I pity for people like this.' I feel sad and I become sarcastic.

4) I will avoid him, if he wants to hang out with me... start being a human being. I might give one more chance... but until now... he is not my priority in mind.

5) I thanked him. 'WHY?! you may say. Just because he made me realize I am not like him, that's why I thanked him'. (To tell you the truth, he has no idea of why I thanked him... which I can giggle everyday about it)

Setting up my goals:

- photography building up my portfolio. "So far I believe I have some few good comments about my picture taking skills, I just need to work a bit more with some accessories."

- Taking care of myself: "Thanks to love and believing in me, I'm starting to control my eating habits and also feeling good in my body now"

- Vroom Vroom... driver's license = need to get one.

- Korean (it will take me forever....)

- Commercialization de la mode (i hope i can build up a good portfolio, I'll need some helps from some friends)

Let my poetic side of me submerge while listening to Exile.

There is nothing I can do right now but just to be clear with myself. I am my own being, just like you are your own being. Define all you can.

Some people considered themselves as poison,
Some people considered themselves as passion,

Other people such as myself is learning everyday,
breathing and appreciate for the time being myself is all the happiness I can find.

These people who considered themselves as poison will meet you eventually.
You don't know it at first, but you will feel it.

No matter how much you can be "you" and no matter how much that I don't expect to change for somebody... eventually this "poison" will reach you.

Love for me is somewhat like this poison.
A pollution that submerge my soul that I have no control over.
The only solution for this pollution to go away is myself, leave myself in quarantine so I won't pollute others.

If science is all about molecule, and God is part of science and mysterious beliefs.
I believe that Love remains even more intangible, Love remains uncanny.

L word is cute, yet frightening.
L word is powerful and yet destroying.

My only cure right now is believe in yourself, my shield will be my intuition and my energy will be my friends, which is why I can't live without these values.

So today I meet my friend Shei-Shei at Cafe Republic for brunch.
We talked a lot, and I am happy that she find a better opportunity than her previous job.
In fact, I was thinking even more and more: "WTF I am doing having a headset again"

While I'm writing this, I feel a bubbly sickness in me that I came back for something less then what I used to earn. I feel that maybe I should again start to look for something that is worth for who I am. I'll have to "eat bitterness". "Chinese proverb: suffer in this position for the moment"

The benefit at work isn't as "fun" as I expect things to be.
I don't want life insurance but it forced me to take it... =_=;
I believe i'll have to change my benefit contribution cos I feel that for 2 weeks of salary = nothing, not close enough for what I expect it to be.

My friend Shei-Shei sees it in me... I am miserable hahahaha cos I'm back in a call center again. Working till my eyes remain permanently red! No freaking eye-drops can help me now.

In addition, a person at work jumped off from the 25th floor and smashed herself in glass-window and tiles. Not a fun image to think about. The though of it makes me shivers....

So there, I believe I will have to go to learn "Commercialisation de la mode" to win the big money.

That is the Question my friends.

Right now I'm setting up some project:

1. Get used of my new job (to be slave? loll yeah I never knew that some member can be soo unconsiderate to people who is "trying" to serve you the best they can) Especially when you start a new environment of work... but phone Service is the same everywhere.

1.1 I am my own customer! I don't want to give wrong info for sure! However, they will have to be patient for this couple of weeks.... since I need to get used to some "technical" screens.

2. Besides this, the thing that take out my stress right now is K-pop.
2.1 Yes, I'm going to learn KOREAN so I can freaking understand at least the reading and writing part + speech!!
2.2 So far, I can read but slowly... I need to remember those tricky vowels.

3. Photography
I try to learn more and to get a bit more "tools" to help myself on this project. I want to create a portfolio so I can go to a designing school... (very badly, I wish I can work in an advertisement agency or even for Magazine layout.)

3.1 I am asking friends who would like to be model. In return, I will give you a copy of your picture and you'll be glad to show it to every friends and family. (hopefully I don't make you 10lb fatter lolll --- so they say )

4. Boyfriend search?
May I say time? Hello? if life was that easy or if men does "rain"or fall off from the sky... It would be dangerous cos I'm soo small that they might kill me in landing. To say the least, I need to love myself first before I can love somebody... Don't get me wrong, I don't hate myself... I'm just building myself right now: under construction -- come back when I'm ready to go! (ohh i love that song... I wonder if it is in Karaoke)

What an odd title for my blog.

I just have experienced... how to be asked to taken a picture of my boots.

Walking around on St-catherine Montreal. And all of the sudden I hear "excuse-me", "Hello, excuse-me". I was ... humm "is it me"?

Apparently yes.

So an asian girl asked me if she can take a picture of my boots.
I was like: "Oh.. I guess? yes?"

And this other Asian boy popped from no where, bent down and took picture of my boots.

Thanked me and I went off... It was an awkward moment. That's how you feel when you are a Harajuku girl in Tokyo, to be asked to take a pic of some fashion item. (I thank Tokyo Ginza for that) I got these cute boots from Japan eventually. I was thinking... since they took pic, they might migrate this fashion to Montreal like a speed of bullet?!

I don't know, maybe this person have some "blog" or fashion project to build?

Back to the old house, I thought that things will be better in my family...

Nothing has changed... in fact, since I was gone the house is a mess! Sometimes I wonder if they even care if the house was that ... dirty!

I feel discouraged when I enter the house... I was used of cleaning after myself at other's people house... "cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes".

Today I went to see my good old ESI Canada workers in the Montreal office in which I was happy. They were soo sweet to have put a lot of time and effort of finding me a gift (craft necklace and bracelet by sweet Laura) and wrote me sweet messages in the card.

My ex-HBC/GE Money co-worker... and former ESI members I will sure miss them a lot.
They are witty and sweet! I love you guys! It was me to move on.

Montreal was nice, I missed my friends... but I didn't really miss my parents because I thought that they liked me having around (maybe for the Okane issues) (that's a good thing or a bad thing?)

My mom get all panicky when she heard from my sister that I want to moved in with my friend to share an apartment. To be honest, I want a life of my own... I wish I can take care of them (my mom was all determined that I HAVE to take care of them)...

I learned a lesson while I was in Toronto = You CAN'T satisfied or help everybody at the same time. I have my own life to build... and I believe sometimes parents need to understand to "let go" and to let myself do my own decision, try things...

Ok, so I got this new sony ericsson Aino phone unlocked yesterday.

I thought it will be easy to get all my settings fonctionnal, but right now I'm guessing that I'll have to exchange it because of some flaws:

1) Battery... (I just charged it over night)
This morning it was full bar.. (I received a couple of texts messages, I took one pictures... i try to use the wifi... and it's already 3/4 of the battery bar!
WTF!

2) trying to connect to internet settings from my fido provider = fail.

3) for 450$... I think I shall return it or exchange it.

Too bad cos I love the design of this phone. I was wishing it could be my first-slide phone! =(

Deceiving title, my little rant about Toronto

Q1: How do I feel about Toronto?
Q2: Did I get to appreciate some aspect in the world of the big T dot?

A1: "Well.... I still feel that Toronto stinks, not just the Maple Leaves... but the street with hotdog stands... I just can't tolerate the smell of pickles, onions and mustard in the morning when I walk to take the TTC subway."

A2: "Appreciating some dinning experience and getting bootleged DVDs and unlocked phones... if you want to satisfy your tangible things... Toronto is the place to be if you are loaded with dinero."

Q3: How about the people or love?

A3: "What people? Oh, you mean the walking man and woman who don't look where they are going on the sidewalk and drivers who do not look after the pedestrians... People.. are zombies!" -- As for Love? what Love? all they care about is being dirty, just like the street food dirty! lol

Sunday Morning ....

On a Saturday, the entire day was rainy.

I didn't slept that much the night before because my sister had a friend who stopped by for the weekend.

Saturday Morning we were supposed to go to my sister's friend's kid party. I feel too awkward to be there so I decided not to go. Although my sister kept saying that there will be a lot of food.

(I mean who does she think she is? I'll be bribe by food? Am I a glutton? NO girl!)

Other than that I enjoyed my Saturday morning and Afternoon by myself. I decided to go to Chinatown to check out exchange rate because I wanna get some "yen" before my trip to Japan.

I went to one Vietnamese currency exchange and it was 'sketchy'....
There is no rate shown on any billboard and she just came back and tell me that it's 120$CA for 10,000 yen. It makes our Canadian dollar looks like pesos. :(

Wow, I'm like one girl who can help the entire call center for MTL and Toronto (and the entire Canada!)

again alone in Toronto

Hiiii people,

I can't believe June is almost over!

(Meaning that my vacation to Japan will be soon!)
ヤッタ！

So, yesterday night my sister and her family left for a week to Montreal.
Other people at work was wondering why I didn't tag along this time again.

BECAUSE of (Work, I said yes to help out the department to translate or interpret some words from English to French)

So this saturday morning I was bored, I decided to text a few people but it doesn't seems that they wish to hang out with me. Except for one, so I'm glad that he can tag along with his girlfriend.
I wanted to go watch Toys Story 3, but it is not playing at the Scotiabank Theatre (Toronto Downtown). So I went to check the schedule online and saw Price of Persia that was still playing!

So the show starts at 6:40pm, I'll meet up my friends there.

Before I even start today's blog, I decided to cook because I don't know what to do while waiting until 6.

It is my first attempt to try to cook "plummy shrimp"! yes just like those you eat in Chinese restaurant and you can't figure out how they make it soo nice and soft.

If ever I go back to Mtl i'll cook my strawberry spinach salade with my plummy peppered shrimp.
And all you need is to customize the rest yourself. So for the shrimp I add some mixed veggies.

I will have to start brush up my Japanese, because I feel like I am not exposed enough with this language. In addition, my friends and co-worker might think I'm actually losing my French!! (OH non! Je ne veux pas ça!)

I was quite impress with Muse, they did really Well!
I can't believe my Camera died on me when there is a great part with the Eye balls ballon floating around the Arena! And also, we enjoyed the music they performed!!!

New position at work, new desk and tranquility lol well almost tranquility there will be always somebody very noisy or somebody that will pounce behind me.

It's funny that I don't feel much different right now. But I get the hang of "Toronto".

Today however, people don't know how to walk on the side walk. I can give you an example of how they walk is like the shape of "S" repeated over and over again. I had to swear in French "Sti" cos a bit more, I think I'll make them trip and fall over on their faces.

Other then that, there was a coincidence that Danielle took my friend Kiky for party and meet Kelly and Ashley who were people from Toronto actually... and yeah, I guess the world is small sometimes?

Next week is Muse Concert!
Got my Via rail tickets, got my concert tickets! and now I just need to rock the way to Montreal and back to Toronto again.

I'm back for the Chinese New year trying to spend some times with friends and family!
Also I think i might need a hair cut soon :D

So On Friday it was busy day for me at work, people were happy to see me and I was happy to see them as well :D

I went shopping with Kiky and discovered a new fragrance by Viktor and Rolf "Eau Mega". I wore it since the day I got it! I went shopping at GAP and got good gets! Then on Saturday morning I spent the whole day with Kiky and her friends doing Wushu and having a small sprint of Karaoke and eating at Denny's, then ate Crepe at Paris Crepe "strawberry nutella"!
Really love it!

So yeah, I hope to see the availability of my friends this week.
And I want to watch a movie on Tuesday.

Anyways, I decided to go to the Mississauga ESI party, it was fun and the place was fancy and beautiful! The food was good enough in a fancy decor, but too bad they didn't gave us a bottle of wine on each table.

I get to dance with my new colleagues and it was fun.
If only Meimei and all my other friends from Montreal could come to this party, i'm sure we will have a lot of fun.

A month without news is good news?

Hello my MTL friends and friends from Japan and in Taiwan...

Sorry for not blogging for a while. Don't worry I am not dead in Toronto! Still alive.

If they say that when there is no news is "good news".
I hope it is true, but don't get me wrong... I don't have any bad news so far.
I've experienced boo boo TTC train it's on my twitter now! (mouahahaha)

TTC won't fool me again!

Anyways, to get a bit of summary:

January, it was a month of decision and talk and thinking...
it was a month about thinking about my future : if one day I'll get used of the transportation or some cold people in Toronto? I'm sure I'm not the only one coming from Montreal. LOL I am not alone! I am sure!

One thing I've noticed... people like to think negatively.
Why? it's the way they ask or express themselves: "I bet this sucks" , " I'm not good at this", "Oh, we don't do that.." I don't hear a lot of "Life is great!" I wish I can see the world! etc...

Anyways that's my impression. :D

Maybe I might sound negative when I talk about Toronto...? I am just showing the "truth" or the "semi-culture-shock" for somebody who lived soo long in Montreal/Brossard.

So in mid-January, I have to take some opportunity at work. I really love Montreal, and this is something to 'sacrifice' in a way. But I know in my heart there will be Montreal Forever :). I just need to get used of Toronto for now. Adjusting to the change, which is why I have decided to apply as a trainer job position at work. I just finished my 2nd interview and try to hear for some news.

If i don't get the job, it is ok, at least I'll see the upcoming questions next time and I'll try to accomplish more in order to move up. I do believe that I don't want to stuck on the phone all the time. I want to feel useful and if this is not enough, I'll take courses or find something else that will make me happy.

So today I did my 2nd interview, it felt almost like I was on American Idol with a lot of laughs and I don't get to cry cos it is less harsh. LOL

So tomorrow, there will be a company party.
I'll see if I can meet new people there.

Next Thursday night, I'll be traveling with my sister to Montreal and working on the 12th to the 19th of Feb then I booked my train at 5pm on the 21st of February !

Horray, some party down for a week!

Oh dear, it was a night to remember!

Because, we had finally 3 guys coming for the Pang Pang/Bubble Tea event!

In addition to this, we had a snow storm/ confused the speedy waitress at Tapioca Tea House with French/English and Chinese. It was funny though ^_^ and the food was yummy!

Holiday in Montréal

Holiday! Celebrate!

It feels good to be back, speaking French and English without a care in the world that you look strange doing it. Because that's what we do in Montréal, we are bilingual!

Thus, the season I celebrated Christmas in bed, with my super dooper Tonsilitis. It wasn't fun at all! The clinic closed at 12pm on the 24th and in Toronto they don't take any new patient. I came down to Montreal and of course clinics were closed the 25th... I was browsing in Brossard to see if there was a clinic openning on the 26th, and bingo! I found one by luck!

On that day, I was lucky to came in early since they open at 9am but taking patient starting 9:30am.

Anti-biotic were expensive! It was madness!

Anyways, it did help me feeling better.
So 10days on the anti-biotic! woot!

Today we are the 31st, I didn't know our bus schedule was weekend... in addition I woke up late... I never hear my alarm! (I think I'm getting to used to the noise in Toronto's Condo)

But I made it on time at work! (Super Iz prepared everything last night)

I might have some good news to share ...

DONE for the last week of November!
I mean wow, that was fast?!! I can still remember October, my friendly call center, my lovely fashionable friends in Montreal.

Anyways, I had some up and down experience here in Toronto. Well more "Down" than "UP".

So all I can put in mind is...

1) wow most Toronto people are ... a bit cold. Not all of course but most of them either they don't like it when we speak French or something... like giving a weird look at us as if we were from a different planet.

(I hate that silent and stares... I wish I can poke their eyes out and say: Manges de la Marde!)

2) I don't like drivers in Toronto... OMG I feel like I'm going to die in an accident or something... soooo dangerous.

3) I don't think I'll be able to find a boyfriend... Maybe I'm too Montreal/weird/nice to them.

4) They don't have OPUS card!! Grrr.... not quick in "upgrading" their public transport...

5) Too many sky-scrappers ... where is the big blue sky that I usually see? Where is the birds? and where is QUIET?

6) A little dent is where I am right now, it's the place where I can have time for myself... without Joshua for a couple of hours feels good... but i'm next to the door thus, I can always hear the stupid Anglo neighbors slamming the door and talking super loud! I really don't feel like home. In fact, I feel like I have no freedom and I miss feeling that!

This afternoon... I really miss my mom in Brossard. She is all alone with my dad... it must be hell for her.

In regards to "Work, or my first week of giving out training for a new guy and my sister was..."

First, I don't think my sister will change, she is still very stuborn and with she have a world of her own, and yes, her bossy attitude irritates me. I don't like that my sister don't pay attention to the practice or questions, and I try to keep a maximum professional image when I'm around her. However, it always looks as if she don't listen to me when I give her training, especially today. She always wants to criticize on almost everything, always want to feel "I AM IMPORTANT" or don't boss me around, it's all about her universe.

I don't boss, I want just want to make that clear. I let them do talking time, and when I feel that there are not enough practice... I just flowing work load again because she kept talking about phone rate... or getting a new phone. (that is SOOO not work related).

It's Friday and we are done with material but not enough practice so, instead of asking questions if she understand or not...she was busy doing her things like typing notes in the PC and I have to repeat myself all the time with my sister. I don't care if she has a head-ache... she didn't have a head-ache when she talks about phone rate for Telus... Just a lame excuse for me. I want her to understand, to be ready for TUESDAY for the 1st of December. I don't mind anymore, if she don't want to review or ask question it's Technically her problem. She wants to learn the hard way so be it!

The other thing with my sister is her "TEMPER" and yes she always have this 2nd face that can surge up and attack you. Or instead of "helping", she wants to ridicule you. She talks on somebody's back then the next day she is all CHUMMY with that person. Arrg... she mirrors my dad's personality! It's crazy!

So my friends, do you think I'll become one of those "evil" "cold" Toronto people? I don't know... I HOPE not! I will keep my MTL pride to myself.

I have to live with it... suck it up.

I think I'll blog about a nice "Asian-Korean-Japanese" restaurant in the P-Mall or aka Pacific Mall in Markham.

The food was fairly "cheap" less then 20$ for a meal for two people.

A trip to daycare, Eaton Center and chores

Hi people,

yes my new exciting life in Toronto is more like an experience of : "what a housewife do during her day". Well, first of all there was a lot of cleaning up, and also getting things for the house like "Draino" and a kettle for hot water because the old one was rusted.

Just before this exciting trip to the Eaton Center. We needed to drop off Joshua at the French Daycare. It was a pretty small place, but I guess it was big enough for kids like Joshua. As we handed Joshua to the teacher. He started to cry and all other babies was watching him with big eyes. It was cute. ha ha ha

So then the time ticks, my sister and I went to Eaton Center to go to a Canadian Tire for Draino and kettle. Just before that we stopped by H&M because my sister wanted some tops for work.

(exciting)

Then we went to Best Buy because of my "Rock Band" issue. LOL Anyways, I got myself the "Lego Rock Band". We went to HMV to get some CDs.

Then we went to grab a bite and went back to the condo to fix up my computer desk.

5:30pm We went to get Joshua back from the Daycare. hehe

Mrs Control Freak

Arrived in Toronto and I was thinking that I will be welcome by my sister... instead she nags.. about almost everything...

First, the room wasn't even set up after months of "letting her know" that I was coming. She was the one all panicky when I wanted to rent out. She said that I should stay with her so I can save up money... But right, I'm not too sure about her theory. So yet, I knew my friend Shiren was right. It turns out my sister is a control freak.

First the Condo wasn't her who bought it... well as a matter of fact she was a house wife for a while... meaning she didn't went back to work since she was preggy. Her husband don't say a word... only her who kept complaining on things that she shouldn't complain about.

So goodbye for the welcoming "party".
I don't have that much space actually ... plus she kept nagging not to make "HER" place stuffy with loads of things... but she doesn't "complain" about how many things she has for one "SPECIAL nephew". If I was a mom, I don't think I would buy too many toys, just use imagination and one multi-purpose toy! hahaha

Anyways, we were looking for a Computer table and a drawers for my clothes... so there she goes... I even Showed her the most COMPACTED desk I've found but realized that it's not big enough for my imac and keyboard. So she kept saying: it's not like you are living forever so you better not buy too many things and invade my living space. What she said was really really harsh. I told her that if her reaction was like that... i should have look for a place for myself. Then, wanted to show herself that she was the "good-sister", she told my mom that she wanted me to save up and not paying 1000$ a month. Right... I told her either I'll stay for just 6months and not thinking that I would handle her bossy control freak for a year.

Yeah, I love Joshua, but I don't like the way she handle things.... and she always want to attack my theory that I'm not a mom so I don't know. (FINE, I don't care if I am not a mom, but still I would use my common sense and compassion) If Mary was a virgin mother, so be it?!

She really made me cry these weekend... I feel like I should do something about it.

But now I'm taking one day at a time.... yes that's all I have, one day at a time.. and when she will encounter work.. she might think twice. She should.

To sum it all up, my experience living with my sister... is mostly "obeying and not trespassing her territory".

OH and yes... I almost forgot: BABYSITTING.

A word of encouragement for the future:

I couldn't think of nothing better than friends. Not just co-workers, it's just a friendly environment that you can't get enough of. It's nice to be around such great people because it inspires me of being good just like them.

This week moves fast like a speed of bullet, more faster than a plane or superman!
I had a lot of things stuffed in my head, in my heart and in my soul. I had some tears and saw some tears but those tears are never meant to hurt you. Thus, you'll probably know that tonight it's my last blog in Brossard/Quebec for a while.

Toronto here I come! People are waiting for me, I need to fulfill my destiny... or to complete my life and learn more. Learning never hurts, I believe in unlimited education. Must I say... "Just do it". In Montreal I've learned a lot of valuable lessons: to be loved, to be crazy, to be innocent, to be happy, to be hurt, to be pissed, to be joyful, to be friendly, to be professional or simply... to be me.

I will share this message tonight: "Thank you for all my friends, near or far. I will never forget our experience and moments together. It's a treasure that nobody can take away from me. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for encouraging me and loving me just the way I am. It's always nice to feel special and appreciated. I could go on and "thank you" until I grow older!"

Izu's last day perceptions and emotions:

Friday the 13th, did I deliberately decided my last in Montreal? No, I didn't thought it would fall on a Friday. But all I can remember is my boss GG and all my other colleagues who stood beside me from all these years. I love them forever, and they will forever remain in my heart.

This morning I was really moved to see my boss/ co-workers are my heroes. First, GG he gaved me a memory we had last friday at Maison de Jazz. It was the picture of my signature move: 'The Asian Peace Sign' who had conquer my Montrealers into FOBBY Asian. It was funny and I wonder if I can do the same for the Toronto Crew? hahaha (just a thought) Anyways, I was really happy that he did this for me, not just that, but I've noticed in GG's office he super size the picture in his office. (Looks like we all friend groupies) hehehe.

As if I wasn't already moved... my boss GG printed super sized banner in French: "Bonne Chance Eezu Xxx"! (of course some made some joke about the triple x) lol but if we are all simple minded, it means kisses. I saw GG sticking those letters on the big window in front of my cubicle and I felt a not down my throat... I was on the edge to cry but I've hold it because I don't want to show it... it will only makes me cry harder if they noticed. But, instead... my friend Karine came to my cubicle and saw the immense banner and she started to have tears in her eyes. I guess she cried for me, and I felt queasy inside so I've hugged her to maker her feel better.

By almost the end of the day, I still have more greetings and kisses and hugs and even more presents and a super nice card for me to keep as a souvenir! I felt blessed and really moved because I was still part of their team, but I guess I never thought that my presence at work in Montreal have moved them as well. I'm still part of the team, just helping them out in Toronto.

Sunday: new hair

Decided for a fresh look and remove that Orange left-over on my hair...
I decided to get a trim and color and highlights :)

So i'm going natural black base with burgundy highlights :)

It took me almost 3hours because the first attempt failed, the streaks didn't showed that much... the girl said i had strong hair. (yeah strong) LOL

So she did it again then it showed more :) still subtle but I like it :D

What! Say What?! Laval adventures

I had a blast this Weekend!

It all started out after work on Friday night: we went to Maison Jazz (it was an interesting place to go because of the decor). I didn't know that it was a bar, but I was glad to go there for the first time. I didn't drink any alcohol beverages (too bad for the waiter), he named almost everything he had in terms of alcohol... I told him that I do drink wine but not in an empty stomach, so I've order a cup of coffee.

Our good J-G he was soo fast with the bill, he treat us all the drinks :o I was speechless and it's maybe the first time a guy buy me a coffee and also the meal at Kanda. I felt special and blissful :)

I will never forget.

CHAPTER begins in Laval:

Then, after the nice evening, Danou drove Kiky and Me to Laval. I thanked her for her hospitality :)

On the same friday night, Kiky and I had some girl talk, and we sang like twitty birds until 3am! We didn't want to wake the parents up.

We talked some more, it was fun to hang out like that with a friend.

Saturday we had a weird evening with 'gum' and a stupid Chinese lady in the girl's toilet. It was about removing gum that was stuck on Kiky's coat and jeans! Yeah some JERK decided to put gum on her coat while we ate in the food court at Carefour Laval.

Then this cleaning lady in the girl's bathroom she was soo stupid and almost 'uragiri' (backstabing)! First, she asked us was we were doing. I told her that we are removing gum on a garment because some jerk in the food court put gum while we eat. She then wanted to see if it was "true". I was glad to show her HOW much gum that we need to remove from Kiky's coat! She then saw us with a bowl of ice. Then, the Chinese lady told me that we are not allowed to bring a bowl from the food court in the bathroom and the security guard will warned us. (what a bitch!)

I told her with a "rational" tone, 'How do you want us to carry the ice?!' We need it to remove the GUM!
- "Oh ice can remove Gum?",she replied.
- "Yes, it harden the rubber and easier to peal off", I responded with my explanation, since she doesn't seem to be RATIONAL.

Kiky then saw between the crack of the toilet door... and said:
"uh, Iz there is a security guard behind our door."

- "Oh, that old hag! Kiky don't mind them we just removing GUM we are not vandalizing this place... we WERE vandalized by some jerks and there is no way we are in trouble for having to remove gum from your jacket, it's just illogical." As I say it out loud, it's to let the stupid guard know that the old Chinese hag was just wasting his time.

They were gone once we were done removing 80% of the gum on Kiky's coat. So I went to wash my hands and bring back the plastic bowl to the food court's counter. I came back and the old Chinese hag was lurking at me again asking for the bowl. I told her and showed my hands that I've returned it to the kitchen. She totally pissed me off! More than the GUM.

So we didn't shopped for long... and went back to Kiky's place...

Next Chapter: "Kiky's relatives"

The relatives of Kiky were really nice and entertaining people. Just as sweet as Kiky!
Her parents, friends and friends of friends :)

We sang Karaoke all night at her place! And stayed another night in Laval.

We sang until 2am! Yes that's how many songs they had... a lot of the old ones but enough to last 7hours! :P

This morning it was raining until the afternoon.
It's also Halloween and right after the rain stopped around 6pm. I saw a rainbow! Then as my mom drove to Taschereau street... I saw the orange sky that mixed with the black leafless trees. It was beautiful! Too bad I didn't bring my Camera. It was worth it.

Anyways, we were driving to Rome street in Brossard because we heard that there was a Japanese restaurant own by Japanese people! Yeah it's rare, but it's not that hard to find. The restaurant name was Yasu.

As we entered the restaurant, a very loud Cantonese woman started to spot us and yell out in Cantonese: "FOR TWO PEOPLE?!" at us. My mom responded in Chinese as well. And I felt... uneasy and 'arrgg'.

The food took a long time to arrived and the Cantonese woman mixed up my order. My mom had Tempura dish and almost finished hers and mine wasn't there yet! I was like: "it better be good to wait this long for Katsu Curry".

Finally! it came, and it was... blah I can make it myself. I was disappointed about the cost of our meal. Too expensive! So it was the same thing yesterday night at Sakura (another Japanese restaurant in Montreal), however it was a notch better, however still both places are TOO pricey!

That was my Halloween, eating out and tasting Japanese cuisine and experiencing poor service in Sakura (yesterday in Montreal) and in Yasu (tonight in Brossard)...

RockBand Party or Never~

Yes, so with some inspirations and also taking some suggestions from friends.
I've decided to do a RockBand party!

For this moment or never, because I don't know when I'll be able to play Rockband with friends if ever i move to Toronto. It's a big city... and people are a bit 'n'importes ou'. And sooo.... instead of "karaoke", I think RockBand is much better :D

I've invited some friends, and if one day Toronto is really not for me, I'll be back to Montreal.

Yes, I just blogged earlier today.

I decided to blog again because... I am bored and I miss my friends.
I need a some sunshine in my coffee or milk tea.
Why am I feeling like this?

Sometimes I was wondering if I should just go to sleep. Other times when I think of this idea... I will convince myself that I will waste my weekend doing nothing but being 'emo'.

Middle age people start to appear on the surface with their happy smiles like a lovely couple.

It makes me all jealous inside.

But yes, all to say that it's middle of October and I am starting to realize that Toronto is calling out loud at me: "YO IZZzzzz!!!" "Get ready, set... GO!"

I wonder if I will survive in this Toronto-ish people or attitude.
I will find out and I will write it down. It's not Quebec anymore, I do realize... But I think there won't be any different, maybe the size of the city is fairly bigger than Montreal. (for sure!)

I don't know what do you think about this, I think it's a different look for my drummer (lol)

But I think I still like the first look with the skirt. It's just something to 'play' with, personally, I think this Rock Band thing is a fashion consultant. LOL That's my opinion!

I recently purchased the Rock Band Beatles set. I played and it was fun...
However I wanted to play other songs than just 'Beatles', so I got myself the Rockband 2 game and it's a lot of fun!

So far I've created one personalized character named: 'Astr' I originally wanted Astra, but then I omitted the last letter by accident. So I kept it that way. It still looks pretty good :)

I will have to watch the movie because after the drama it didn't look like it was finished... Also, I've noticed they like to put Greeeen as their main artist theme song. Which I don't mind 'cos I really like Greeeen.
